BGIS 2026 Round 2 Day 1 kicks off on February 5 with 512 teams competing across multiple groups. Here’s the full schedule, format, maps, and qualification details.

The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2026 is stepping into a crucial phase as BGIS Round 2 officially begins on February 5, 2026. After an intense Round 1 featuring 1,024 teams, only 496 squads survived the cut. Now, with the entry of invited pro teams from The Grind, the competition is set to get even tougher from Day 1.

BGIS 2026 Round 2 Day 1 Overview

BGIS Round 2 will run from February 5 to February 8, with matches played daily across multiple groups. Each day will feature 8 groups, ensuring a packed schedule and nonstop action. While a few groups will be covered on the official broadcast, several teams will also stream their POVs individually, giving fans more ways to follow the action.

Map Rotation for Day 1

The map rotation for BGIS 2026 Round 2 Day 1 is designed to test adaptability and macro play:

  • Rondo – 1 match
  • Erangel – 3 matches
  • Miramar – 1 match

With Erangel dominating the rotation, consistency and late-game execution will be key, while Rondo and Miramar could spring surprises for unprepared teams.

Teams Competing in BGIS Round 2

A total of 512 teams are competing in Round 2, including 496 Round 1 qualifiers and 16 invited teams from The Grind. Notable names from The Grind Group D include Los Hermanos, Team Alpha, Phoenix Esports, and Team Insane Esports, while teams like Aura Esports and Medal Esports enter from Group C.

Teams are divided into 32 groups, with each group playing 6 matches. The top 7 teams from each group will qualify directly for Round 3, along with 16 best-performing teams overall, making every point crucial from Day 1 itself.
