KRAFTON's Project Valor leaks reveal arcade battle royale gameplay, supernatural perks, playtest details, and a possible Gamescom 2026 reveal.

New details have surfaced about KRAFTON’s unannounced project, currently codenamed Project Valor or PUBG Valor. The game has reportedly entered its external playtesting phase, giving players an early look at what could become the next major title set in the PUBG universe.

PUBG Studios developed this game, which seems to depart from PUBG’s realistic nature by adopting arcade combat and supernatural elements.

Project Valor Brings a Fresh Twist to PUBG

As per leaked details from Off Road Gaming, Project Valor is the battle royale game made using Unreal Engine 5. Although it has realistic graphics, the reports about early testing claim that the game has significantly faster gameplay than that of PUBG: Battlegrounds.

One of the most prominent features of the game is the Workbench Crafting system that allows players to earn scrap to buy and upgrade weapons without going off the battlefield.

Other than this, the game includes supernatural elements that distinguish it from other PUBG games.

Blood Altars and Powerful Perks

However, through leaks, players have learned that there will be Blood Altars and some kind of Evangelist Machines found throughout the map.

When these machines are activated, they give the players ROMz Cartridges that enable them to acquire some cool perks.

Some of the revealed perks are:

  • Prankster: It helps the players to trap doors and vehicles in order to surprise their enemies.
  • Peek-A-Boo: It allows players to see their enemies through walls, but it also reveals their position to them.

It looks like Project Valor is going to incorporate more tactical capabilities along with the conventional shooting gameplay.

Playtests Underway, Reveal Rumored for Gamescom

KRAFTON is said to be holding closed playtests on the title throughout July 2026, with additional playtests planned for July 17-19 and 24-26.

While there has been no official announcement of the title from KRAFTON yet, industry rumors have pointed towards Project Valor as an official launch at Gamescom 2026.

Until KRAFTON makes an official statement about the project, everything that comes out about it remains unconfirmed. But in case these rumors are true, then Project Valor could end up being the most unique title within the PUBG franchise
