The Esports Nations Cup aka ENC 2026 has officially announced the structure of the Apex Legends Online Qualifiers, which is the beginning of the road to LAN Finals of the tournament in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As opposed to regular esports tournaments when gamers compete as part of their clubs, ENC participants will represent their nations while qualifying to one of the most notable international Apex Legends tournaments of the season.
Online Qualifiers will take place from August 1 to August 3, 2026. Lets look at the more details.
ENC 2026 Apex Legends Online Qualifiers Format Explained
In the ENC 2026 Apex Legends Finals, a total of 40 national teams will take part in the competition.
Half of the slots, 20 in number, are reserved for those countries which got invites directly based on ALGS Year 6 Championship Points from Split 1 Playoffs. But the countries who received these invites need to select their team through the regional qualifier.
The remaining 18 slots will be handed out through Online Qualifiers and the distribution of the slots is as follows:
- EMEA: 9 slots
- Americas: 6 slots
- APAC South: 3 slots
In addition, the tournament will feature two wildcard spots, including one for the host region and another Solidarity Slot.
Regional Qualifiers
The qualifiers will include four main regions: EMEA, Americas, APAC North, and APAC South.
Players will play under a single elimination format, which will move on to play six-game series in future rounds. Teams will be chosen depending on the conventional ALGS placement and elimination scoring system, where only the best teams progress.
