Nodwin Gaming has officially announced the BGMI: Naye Khiladi grassroots championship that will allow upcoming gamers an opportunity to demonstrate their skills through BGMI. This tournament is hosted by Nodwin Gaming and powered by Krafton India Esports. This grassroots championship gives upcoming and grassroots players a chance to move up from being casual participants to becoming stars in the Indian esports circuit.

BGMI: Naye Khiladi Tournament Format and Schedule

The tournament will run for nearly two months. Over the course of two months, we will gradually see the teams shrinking from thousands of participants to the nation’s top emerging squads. As of now, the complete schedule is as follows:

  • Registrations: June 15 – June 21, 2026
  • In-Game Qualifiers: June 26 – June 30, 2026
  • Round 1 (1,024 Teams): July 6 – July 12, 2026
  • Round 2 (256 Teams): July 23 – July 26, 2026
  • Quarterfinals (64 Teams): July 28 – July 31, 2026
  • Semifinals (32 Teams): August 2 – August 5, 2026
  • Grand Finals (16 Teams): August 7 – August 9, 2026

This tournament provides a pathway to BMSD 2026, which is expected somewhere between August and September.

BGMI Naye Khiladi Prize pool Breakdown

In addition to the opportunity to gain recognition within the BGMI esports ecosystem, participants will compete for a total prize pool of ₹10 lakh. Below is the prize pool distribution.

Special MVP Award for Standout Players

Apart from team rewards, there is also individual recognition presented by Krafton that honors exceptional talent among all the players. This time, the award for being the most valuable player/MVP in the tournament comes with a cash prize of ₹10,000.

The objective behind awarding this recognition is to honor those who showcase exemplary skills of mechanics and gameplay.

BGMI: Naye Khiladi is yet another milestone in the journey of Krafton to develop the esports community in India. Through its exclusive focus on emerging teams and less recognized players, the tournament provides an opportunity for newcomers to get experience and recognition.
