Among the two largest esports organizations of India, a collaboration will be taking place. The two popular esports organizations of India, namely S8UL and GodLike Esports, are set to head one of India’s grandest gaming shows. India Rising: Road to EWC is expected to take place on July 4, 2026, at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
This event, organized by JioBLAST and the Esports Foundation, plans to celebrate the rising prominence of India in the international gaming scene under one roof.
S8UL and GodLike Share the Same Stage for India Rising: Road To EWC Gaming Festival
India Rising: Road to EWC is one of those rare instances when two of the most powerful names in esports in the country get together to celebrate with the community. Both of them belong to the highly esteemed Esports World Cup 2026 Partner Program, which consists of just 40 esports clubs around the globe known for their influence in the field.
It underlines the rising significance of India in esports, along with the other prominent nations such as North America, Europe, and East Asia.
Charlie Cowdrey, CEO, JioBLAST, said: “India Rising: Road to EWC was created with the vision of bringing the entire gaming ecosystem together under one roof. Having both S8UL and GodLike, alongside their creators and communities, reflects exactly what this event is about. These organisations have played a significant role in shaping Indian esports and gaming culture, and their presence helps make the gaming festival a true celebration of the industry as it continues to grow and connect with global opportunities through the Esports World Cup ecosystem.”
Faisal Bin Homran, Chief Product Officer, the Esports Foundation, added: “S8UL and GodLike have been central to the Indian esports story. They’ve helped create the scene and built communities that have brought millions of fans into competitive gaming. Having them involved in India Rising brings that passion to the festival and the EWC this summer and gives fans the chance to see some of the heroes who helped build Indian esports. For new talent, it’s also an opportunity to put themselves in the spotlight in front of a larger audience and be part of an event that brings together different corners of the community on one global stage.”_
