Pokémon Champions mobile launches June 17, 2026. Explore battle modes, Pokémon HOME support, and exclusive launch rewards.

Mobile gamers and competitive Pokémon trainers have a new reason to get excited. Pokémon Champions is coming to iOS and Android devices. It first launched on Nintendo Switch in April 2026, and now The Pokémon Company says pre-registrations for the mobile version are open. The game releases on June 17, 2026.

Announced back in July 2025, Pokémon Champions does things differently. Unlike other Pokémon RPGs that emphasize story and exploration, this game focuses solely on competitive battles. Players get to pit their Pokémon against others from around the world to see who comes out on top.

Pokémon Champions Competitive Battle Modes Bring Classic PvP Action

The mobile version will include full cross-play support with the Nintendo Switch game, making it easier for folks to enjoy the game across different devices. There are three main battle modes that fit various gaming styles.

First off, Ranked Mode is where trainers can climb up the competition, earn Victory Points, and pit themselves against the best players worldwide.

Next is Casual Mode, which takes the pressure off – you can test out new team ideas without worrying about your ranking. Lastly, Private Mode lets players set up their own lobby with special rules, perfect for fun matches with friends or even community events.

To celebrate the mobile game launch, The Pokémon Company is doing a special cross-platform login event. People logging in during the launch window will get a free Raichu, plus the new Raichunite X and Raichunite Y Mega Stones for Poké adventures.

These exclusive items let Raichu Mega Evolve in battles, introducing new strategies and fresh opportunities in the competitive scene. The launch rewards will likely attract both new and returning players, offering some of the biggest draws in the game.
