Everstone Studio has officially released the highly anticipated Imperial Palace expansion for Where Winds Meet. The major update is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms.
The expansion introduces players to the dangerous political center of the Song empire while also bringing one of the biggest names in martial arts cinema into the game’s development team.
Where Winds Meet Imperial Palace Expansion Now Live on PC, PS5, and Mobile
The new Imperial Palace expansion allows players to enter the secretive royal court for the first time.
As stated by the game developers, players will get an opportunity to discover secret imperial treasures, deal with treacherous plots, and solve enigmas that have something to do with the upper echelon of power in the Jianghu world.
The update enriches the storyline of the game as well as adds new locations based on Chinese imperial and wuxia traditions.

Legendary Action Director Joins the Development Team
In addition to the new release, Everstone Studio has also announced a significant partnership with world-famous martial arts action director Yuen Woo-ping.
Yuen Woo-ping has gained fame due to his contributions to famous films such as The Matrix, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and Kung Fu Hustle.
Yuen Woo-ping has been appointed as the Global Action Consultant and will be instrumental in creating the game’s martial arts system.
It is noted by Everstone Studio that Yuen Woo-ping, together with his stunt group known as the Yuen Clan, has been involved in the motion capture production process.
Through the partnership, it will help ensure greater realism, more realistic animations, and better fight choreography in future updates.
Also, it is revealed by developers that the upcoming fighting styles like the Drunken Fist, Spear, and Staff are being perfected by Yuen Woo-ping.
Opening up of Imperial Palace expansion is yet another significant development that will see further expansion of Where Winds Meet’s open world action RPG.
