Catch the detailed World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 points table after Bangladesh vs Pakistan 1st Test in Dhaka.

Bangladesh cricket team have moved from the 8th position to 6th on the ICC World Test Championship (WTC 2025/27) points table after outclassing Pakistan by 104 runs in the BAN vs PAK 1st Test. Prior to this game, Salman Ali Agha and co. were on the fifth position, having won, one out of the 2 games that they played in the current cycle. As a result of the huge loss against BAN, they have now slipped to the 7th position. Meanwhile, BAN are on 6th, having won, lost and drawn one each so far.

Australia are on the top of the WTC 2025/27 standings, having won 7 out of the 8 matches that they have played so far. New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka are 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill-led India are fifth on the points table having lost a home series to South Africa last year. Bangladesh are scheduled to play one more Test against Pakistan as a part of this series in Sylhet from May 16 onwards.

  • 12 points for a win
  • 6 points for a tie
  • 4 points for a draw
  • Teams are ranked according to the percentage of points won.
  • The Top two teams progress to the final in 2027.
  • Point Deductions: Points are deducted for slow over rates
