Riot Games announces open applications for League, VALORANT, and TFT Partner Programs starting August 2026. Check requirements and benefits.

Riot Games is officially entering a new era of creator collaboration. Applications for three major partner programs open soon. For years, the developer paused new entries to its creator ecosystem. They used that time to build a more robust, multi-game evolution. Now, League of Legends, VALORANT, and Teamfight Tactics (TFT) are seeking fresh voices.

Riot Games Partner Programs – Application Timeline

The rollout follows a staggered schedule throughout late 2026. Each window lasts roughly one month.

Beyond the “Giant Audience”

Riot is shifting focus away from raw follower counts. They want both established stars and rising talent. Selection depends on three core pillars:

  • Passion: A genuine connection to the specific game.
  • Impact: Maintaining a positive influence on the community.
  • Engagement: Active and meaningful interaction with your viewers.

Exclusive Partner Perks

Successful applicants gain access to significant “quality of life” upgrades for their channels. This includes unlocked characters, complimentary battle passes, and giveaway codes for fans.

Partners also gain entry to a new Creator Hub. This portal offers dedicated support and early access to upcoming content.

What About Other Games?

While the “Big Three” take center stage, other titles follow different paths:

  • Wild Rift: Enters closed beta this month. Open applications likely arrive in 2027.
  • 2XKO & Runeterra: No formal programs yet. These teams continue to support creators individually.
  • Artists & Cosplayers: These groups are currently excluded. Riot plans to address their needs soon.

If you miss this window, don’t worry. Riot intends to reopen applications once they scale their support teams effectively.
