PlayStation Plus Essential’s lineup for April 2026 has allegedly leaked online, grabbing the spotlight before Sony’s official announcement. The leak comes from the renowned PlayStation insider, billbil-kun, from Dealabs. The leaker has accurately revealed the PS Plus lineups since 2021.
What are the PS Plus April 2026 Leaked Games?
As per the report, there are two big titles that will replace March’s offerings once the rotation occurs:
- Lords of the Fallen (2023): This dark-fantasy Soulslike reboot took 2.5 million copies to break even, which is considered slow for a AAA title. With a sequel currently in development, including the first game on PS Plus serves as free marketing to boost player counts before the next release.
- Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream: Released in October of 2024, this anime-based co-op action RPG allows up to 20 players to team up for huge raid battles. Although it got a middling reception, subscription platforms are a great way for niche anime games to find a profitable afterlife.

Why Fans Are Calling It a Weak Month
Across gaming communities, it is evident that many gamers are underwhelmed by this leaked list of games. Neither title is considered a major blockbuster success, and both games have received mixed reviews. Additionally, neither title is considered brand-new.
This is the ultimate example of how subscription gaming is becoming incredibly predictable. Sony’s standard monthly lineup is an older AAA title, a niche/anime title, and an indie title. Lords of the Fallen and Sword Art Online are both examples of Sony’s corporate formula.
Despite these leaks generating early conversation, it is creating a significant problem for Sony. These leaks, announced mere days before Sony’s official announcement, are stealing maximum attention and greatly diminishing Sony’s social media hype, which is used for marketing.
