India’s premier AAA gaming studio, LightFury Games, has announced that Mumbai’s legendary Shivaji Park will be a fully playable ground in its upcoming flagship title, eCricket. Known globally as the “Cradle of Indian Cricket,” Shivaji Park has nurtured some of the greatest legends the sport has ever seen – including Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar. For the first time, fans will be able to experience the grit and glory of this historic maidan in a hyper-realistic digital environment.
Shivaji Park Set to Debut as Playable Ground in eCricket
Developed using Unreal Engine 5, the digital recreation of Shivaji Park isn’t just a generic stadium. LightFury Games has gone to great lengths to capture the specific “nursery” vibe of the ground. Players can expect to see the iconic katta (stone benches) lining the perimeter, the Samarth Vyayam Mandir, and the signature dust-filled air that has defined Mumbai’s local cricket scene for decades.
