VALORANT Challengers 2026 South Asia registrations are now live! Discover the new VCSA format, player eligibility rules and more.

Nodwin Gaming has announced the registration schedule and new roadmap for the VALORANT Challengers 2026 South Asia (VCSA) series. This new season represents a major change in the competitive scene, as Riot launches its “Path to Champions” program in place of the previous Ascension system.

VCSA 2026 Key Registration Details

Aspiring professional players and teams from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, and the Maldives can now register for the upcoming circuit.

  • Registration Start: Today, February 25, 2026.
  • Registration Ends: 4th of March, 2026.
  • Player Eligibility: As per the updated global standards by Riot, no player can participate until they turn 16 years old. This is calculated by having lived 16 full years as of the start of the competition.

The New 2026 Format

The 2026 season is based on a “Tournament Model” with a multi-split structure. Rather than having one Ascension tournament at the end of the year, Challengers teams now have a direct route to the VCT Pacific Stage 2 Playoffs.

For South Asian teams, the pressure has never been greater. The top team from South Asia will qualify for a Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) with the top seeds from Oceania and Southeast Asia. The winner of the LCQ will qualify for the Stage 2 Playoffs, offering a genuine chance to qualify for VALORANT Champions Shanghai.
