However, that might not be the case on Tuesday as there is no forecast for rain, which means a full-fledged contest is on the cards.

What happens if PAK vs ENG is washed out?

If the Pakistan vs England Super 8 tie is washed out, then both teams will have to share points. There is no reserve day in place. It is pertinent to point out that a 5-over game is a must to determine the result of the game. Currently, England are on top of the points table in Group 2 of the Super 8s, having defeated Sri Lanka in their previous match. Pakistan have one point to their name as their game against New Zealand was washed out.
