Now, Australia’s fate in the T20 World Cup is in the hands of Zimbabwe. Oman has been eliminated. Ireland is in the same boat as Australia but has a worse net run rate. Even if these three teams register victories in the remaining games, they might not make it.

How Australia can qualify for Super 8
Zimbabwe has played one tough game against the Aussies and won. A victory over Ireland could seal off the two Super 8 spots for them. Sri Lanka has beaten Australia as well and qualified.
Firstly, Australia now needs to beat Oman by a big margin. They won’t like for Ireland to beat Zimbabwe by a big margin. Lastly, Zimbabwe shouldn’t win another game, and they mustn’t have a better net run rate than them.
