Oman will step into the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 with a history that spans two prior seasons, in 2016 and 2021. While their journeys in both editions led them to the group stage, In the T20 World Cup Oman are against teams with a rich history of tournament victories, adding excitement and challenge.

Oman find themselves in group B alongside cricket heavyweights Australia, England, Scotland, and Namibia. The tournament will kick-off on 1 June, 2024 in a new revamped format, where 20 teams will participate. Teams have been divided into four groups of five. Oman will face Namibia in their opening encounter on June 2 followed by Australia on June 5. Oman will next face Scotland on June 9 before facing the Three Lions in their final match.

The top two teams from each group will move on to the Super 8 stage, followed by a split into two groups of four. From there, the top two teams will secure a spot in the semi-finals, building up to the grand finals.

  • 2. Oman vs Australia, Kensington Oval, June 5, Barbados
  • 3. Oman vs Scotland, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, June 9, Antigua
  • 4. Oman vs England, Kensington Oval, June 13, Antigua
