PGL and MOONTON Games partner to expand European Mobile Legends: Bang Bang ecosystem, unveil first PGL MLBB Challengers tournament

MOONTON Games has partnered with PGL to expand the European Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Esports ecosystem. The partnership includes the launch of the inaugural PGL MLBB Challengers, marking PGL’s first MLBB tournament in the region. As one of Europe’s largest esports organisations, PGL will bring the world’s most popular mobile esport to a new competitive stage.

With over 1.5 billion installations and 110 million monthly active users, MLBB continues to shape the global mobile gaming and esports landscape. The tournament will serve as a platform to develop emerging talent and strengthen Europe’s competitive esports scene. 

PGL MLBB Challengers: Scaling MLBB Esports with regional experts 

PGL brings along extensive experience in hosting large-scale esports events across the world. With a strong understanding of regional audiences and a proven track record, the organisation brings the expertise to deliver a seamless competitive experience for MLBB players.

Registrations open for Europe’s first PGL MLBB Challengers

The PGL MLBB Challengers Open Qualifier will commence on 13 January. The Open Qualifers follow a single-elimination, Best-of-One (BO1) format. The top eight qualifier teams will advance to the PGL MLBB Challengers Main Event, scheduled for 16 to 18 January. Phase 1 matches will be played in a BO3 format, while later rounds in the Upper and Lower Brackets will shift to a BO5 format. The Grand Finals will culminate in a BO7 showdown, where the event’s inaugural champions will be crowned.
