Adam Fogelson, Chairman of the Motion Picture Group noted, “Our AAA game opportunities and other gaming prospects related to John Wick and Saw, along with some announcements we’ll be making soon, are experiencing heightened interest and expanded possibilities.”

The John Wick game marks a significant milestone for the action-packed series starring Keanu Reeves. Fans have long speculated about an interactive take on the Baba Yaga’s world of high-stakes gun-fu and continental intrigue.

Lionsgate first teased the idea in 2022, exploring developer proposals, and 2023 updates confirmed “a ton of energy” around a potential title. Now, with progress “on track,” expect a full reveal shortly, positioning it as a premium AAA experience that could let players embody the relentless assassin.

Meanwhile, Saw returns to gaming after a 15-year hiatus. The last entry, Saw II: Flesh & Blood in 2010, left fans craving more Jigsaw-style traps and moral dilemmas. This revival taps into the horror franchise’s legacy of psychological terror, potentially blending survival mechanics with the series’ signature gore. Producers have previously affirmed commitment to new games, and recent leaks hinted at projects like “Project Gideon.”

These ventures reflect Lionsgate’s strategy to monetize IPs across media, building on successes like John Wick live experiences. While developers, platforms, and exact gameplay remain under wraps, the studio anticipates “significantly beneficial financial opportunity” ahead. Other unnamed franchises may follow, amplifying Lionsgate’s gaming footprint.

For gamers, this news promises immersive worlds from cinema’s elite action and horror realms, bridging films with hands-on thrills.
