India's True Rippers shine at the first ever BGMI International Cup as First Runners-Up. DRX Wins the champion title of BMIC 2025.

 India’s TRUE RIPPERS emerged as the first runners-up, delivering a breakout performance at the tournament, while Korea’s TEAM DRX were crowned champion of the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA INTERNATIONAL CUP (BMIC) 2025, defeating top teams from India, South Korea, and Japan in a high-stakes international LAN event held at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, Delhi. The champions bagged ₹30,00,000 along with a direct qualification to the Global Championship 2025 solidifying India’s rise in the international Esports arena.

TRUE RIPPERS from India and CAG OSAKA from Japan secured second and third places respectively, earning ₹15,00,000 and ₹10,00,000 for their impressive performance. Alongside the team achievements, exceptional individual talent was acknowledged through a series of special awards. DRXHYUNBIN was honoured as the MVP, receiving ₹2.5 lakhs for his stellar performance throughout the tournament. DRXQxzzz earned the title of IGL, taking home ₹1.25 lakhs for his sharp tactical direction. M4xHERo clinched the Best Clutch Award, winning ₹1 lakh for his decisive plays and consistent impact in crucial moments.

Multiple teams have now confirmed their participation in the Global Championship 2025, setting the stage for an exciting international showdown. Korea’s DRX and India’s OG will compete in the Gauntlet Stage, with DRX qualifying through the BGMI KRAFTON India International Cup (BMIC) and OG earning their spot via the recently concluded BGMI Showdown. India’s TRUE RIPPERS have secured their place in the Group Stage through BMIC, while DK and RC have also qualified, rounding off a strong and diverse international lineup.

Murugan, Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, said, “The first-ever BGMI International Cup by KRAFTON India, held at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, marks a landmark moment in the history of Indian Esports. For the first time, exceptional talent from India, South Korea, and Japan came together under one roof, where creativity and passion merged into innovation, showcasing India’s growing stature and talent on the global mobile Esports stage.”
