Previously, the ‘National League Ranking Team Seed Recognition’ provision was recommended, but organizers have clarified it will not apply this season. Teams that earn a PMGC seed through the BMIC results will qualify, and if a team already holds a PMGC seed via another route but secures another at BMIC, their additional seed will be inherited by the next highest-ranked BMIC squad. This change reduces confusion, eliminates duplicate qualification, and ensures the most competitive teams ascend to the global stage.

Teams Competing at BGMI International Cup 2025
BMIC 2025 will feature 16 elite squads—eight from India, four from South Korea, and four from Japan. Below is the full roster of teams battling in New Delhi from October 31 to November 2, 2025:
- India: Orangutan, K9 Esports, Team Soul, True Rippers, Gods Reign, Nebula Esports, Mysterious 4, Madkings
- South Korea: Dplus, NongShim RedForce, Jecheon Phalanx, DRX
- Japan: Reject, Reignite, Making The Road, CAG Osaka
Notably, Orangutan (India) and Dplus (South Korea) have already qualified for PMGC 2025 through their regional performances. Should either of these teams secure a top position and an additional PMGC slot at BMIC, the slot will be passed to the next-best scoring team in the BMIC standings—preserving competitive integrity and maximizing regional representation.
