The CEGC 2025 CS2 tournament is a high-profile event hosted at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai, India, from November 7 to 9, featuring a $50,000 prize pool backed by the Tamil Nadu government in partnership with Skyesports. The event includes top teams from Europe, Southeast Asia, and India, with only the top two teams from each regional qualifier advancing to the LAN finals in Chennai.

BC.GAME started their campaign well, securing a 13-6 victory against QUAZAR and advancing to the quarter-finals. They then overcame a tough challenge against NOVAQ, rallying from a 10-2 deficit on the third map. However, their run was cut short in the semi-finals by BIG, who recently replaced Karim “Krimbo” Moussa with Gleb “gr1ks” Gazin. Gr1ks’ strong performance was pivotal in BIG’s 2-0 sweep over BC.GAME, knocking s1mple and new signing Denis “electroNic” Sharipov—who joined in mid-October—out of the tournament.
This loss extends s1mple’s absence from LAN competition since his loan spell with FaZe Clan at the BLAST.tv Austin Major and IEM Dallas earlier this year.
