Ubisoft has unveiled the next major chapter for The Crew Motorfest, announcing Year 3 of live content during The Crew Showcase 2025. Kicking off on November 5 with Season 8, the new year promises deeper customization, community-first updates, and exclusive collaborations — marking one of the most ambitious expansions for the franchise yet.

Before looking ahead, Ubisoft confirmed ongoing support for The Crew 2. Responding to long-standing community requests, the title now features a new hybrid mode enabling both online and offline play — ensuring its accessibility for years to come.

The Crew Motorfest Year 3 Season 8: “Street Riders” and BMW Legacy

Season 8 ushers in the “Street Riders” playlist, a new mode diving deep into the underground racing scene. Players will join a secret collective called “Monkeys’ Kitchen,” blending street art, freeform racing, and creative car culture. The update introduces Stance customization alongside over 40 new branded rims, giving players unprecedented freedom over their rides.

The Crew Motorfest also extends its collaboration with BMW, bringing a dedicated playlist celebrating the brand’s storied legacy — from classic models to modern icons like the exclusive BMW M2 CS. Fans can explore the evolution of BMW design through curated challenges and events.

Steam Deck Verification and Customization Upgrades

Coinciding with the November 5 update, The Crew Motorfest becomes fully verified for Steam Deck, allowing players to take their garage on the go. Year 3 further deepens customization options, enabling complete control over wheel materials, colors, and vehicle stance.

A revamped progression and ranking system will also debut in The Grand Race, refining competitive play and rewarding skill progression.

Year 3 Rewards and Roadmap

Players logging in within three days of the showcase will receive a free in-game car. Additionally, a new Friend Pass system lets owners invite up to three friends to join Crew mode for free with no time limit.

The Year 3 Pass includes 21 new vehicles — four available at launch and 17 distributed in monthly drops. Owners of previous passes (Year 1 or 2) will unlock an exclusive hypercar reward: the Cadillac CIEL Concept (2011).

Looking further ahead, Season 9 is set to be the most extensive update yet, bringing a NASCAR collaboration, the new Track Forge creation tool, and remote-controlled cars for free roam and event use.

The Crew Motorfest is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Amazon Luna, PC via Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam — with Steam Deck verification arriving November 5.
