Tournament Format
Qualifier Regions:
- Southeast Asia (SEA): October 17–19, 2025
- Europe: October 21–23, 2025
- India: October 24–26, 2025
- Qualification: Top 2 teams from each region (total 6 teams) qualify for the main event in Chennai.
- Format: Online regional qualifiers followed by an offline LAN finals in Chennai.
- Valve Regional Standings: The event will contribute to Valve’s official Counter-Strike 2 regional ranking system.
Prize Pool Distribution
The CEGC 2025 is the first Indian state-backed international esports championship, highlighting Tamil Nadu’s commitment to esports infrastructure and ecosystem development. Opening Ceremony on November 7 will see participation from global esports stakeholders and officials, marking Tamil Nadu’s emergence as an international esports hub. The CS2 event will be followed by the BGMI tournament from November 14–16, offering ₹50 lakh in prizes.
