The Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage opened with major upsets and statement wins — T1, TES, and Gen.G took early leads, while 100 Thieves shocked the world by defeating Bilibili Gaming.

The League of Legends Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage Day 1 kicked off with eight thrilling best-of-one matches, delivering major upsets, dominant wins, and signs of early struggles for some favorites. The Swiss Stage – running from October 15 to 25 – replaces the traditional group phase, with teams needing three wins to advance and three losses to be eliminated.
