KRAFTON India has officially revealed the 48 teams selected to compete in the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) Showdown 2025 (BMSD 2025) -the definitive battleground for India’s top esports squads. Kicking off on September 18, the month-long competition will conclude with the Grand Finals from October 10–12, where one team will take home a ₹1 Crore prize and earn a direct slot at the Global Championship.
In addition to the ultimate prize, the Top 8 teams from the BMSD will also qualify for the BGMI International Cup, reinforcing the tournament’s status as a launchpad for global contention.
The 48 teams have been seeded into two key phases – Lower Bracket and Upper Bracket – with matches structured in a studio-format round robin across the initial stages. Below is the breakdown of the participating squads by phase:
