It is season of penalties for both India and England. While Mohammed Siraj was docked match fees for a shoulder barge in the Lord’s Test, now the hosts have been docked two points for maintaining a slow over rate. Nonetheless, England team bowled exceptionally well to keep India at bay, while chasing 193 runs in the final innings.
Ravindra Jadeja — 61 not out, along with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj did try to take India over the finish line, but fell 22 runs short and were bundled out for 170 only, on the final day.
