The best-of-five series was a nail-biter, with every map going down to the wire. Paper Rex started strong on their pick, Sunset, winning 13-11 despite an early lead from FNATIC. A crucial Sage wall and Raze Blast Pack play by Jinggg and d4v41 secured the first map.
Icebox, FNATIC’s pick, was a back-and-forth battle. FNATIC’s kaajak and Alfajer showcased incredible individual skill, with kaajak racking up 32 kills. While FNATIC initially gained a significant lead, Paper Rex clawed their way back, forcing overtime. Ultimately, FNATIC edged out a 17-15 victory, leveling the series.

The final map, Lotus, was a testament to both teams’ resilience. The lead swung back and forth, with highlight plays from both sides. Paper Rex’s something delivered a clutch 1v2, and the home crowd’s energy fueled their momentum. FNATIC, led by Chronicle and Alfajer, pushed Paper Rex to the brink, taking a 12-11 lead. However, Paper Rex held strong, forcing overtime and ultimately closing out the map 14-12 with a decisive 2v4 from f0rsakeN and something, securing their championship title.
f0rsakeN was named the tournament MVP for his exceptional performance as both Controller/Initiator and in-game leader. The win was an emotional moment for Paper Rex, marking the culmination of years of hard work. Coach alecks attributed their success to a newfound calmness and smarter gameplay, while Jinggg expressed gratitude for achieving his dream of becoming a Masters winner.
