Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion is likely to return after WrestleMania 38. Last year, Bayley was pitched out of the title picture against Bianca Belair after a torn ACL injury in the WWE Performance Center. The injury occurred during her training session, which left her unfit to wrestle.
It’s been several months that the top superstar of the women’s division is out of action. In mid-Feb, reports came out of her recovery, but no confirmation on in-ring return. Recently, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported Bayley’s in-ring return. Recently, she was spotted in New York.
Further, he gave an update regarding her in-ring return. He said, “Bayley has been out of action since last summer after suffering a torn ACL while training at the WWE Performance Center and of late, has made other promotional appearances for WWE to help push WrestleMania in the Dallas market. She is expected to return to action within the next month or so, likely after WrestleMania 38.”

Bayley and Bianca Belair share an intense rivalry that hasn’t ended. WWE booked both women to face each other in a title bout before Bayley’s injury. Now, WWE might book Bayley to return the next night on Raw after WrestleMania 38.
Although she belongs to the Blue brand, WWE might switch her to the Red brand. Bayley is a former champion on both brands and made a successful run as the SmackDown Women’s champion with 379 days.
