Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes
Previously, Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar faced each other at Backlash 2023 where Cody Rhodes defeated Brock Lesnar. Again the duo squared off against each other at Night of Champions 2023, where Lesnar defeated Rhodes. Following that Lesnar went on a hiatus.
The Beast Incarnate returned on Monday Night Raw following Money in the Bank 2023, where Cody Rhodes got the better of him. The next week, Rhodes challenged Lesnar to a rubber match at SummerSlam 2023. With that, on Monday Night Raw this week, Brock Lesnar returned and brutally assaulted Cody Rhodes. However, before leaving, The Beast Incarnate accepted The American Nightmare’s challenge.
Thus, Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes will face each other at WWE SummerSlam 2023.
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor
Previously, at WWE Money in the Bank 2023, Seth Rollins successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor. However, the feud between Balor and Rollins continued.
With that, on the latest episode of WWE Raw, Finn Balor challenged Seth Rollins to a rematch. However, Rollins refused and asked Balor to end matters then and there. Balor seemed to walk away, but he came back and attacked Rollins. Later, it was announced that Seth Rollins will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor at WWE SummerSlam 2023.
Ronda Rousey vs Shayna Baszler
Previously, at WWE Money in the Bank 2023, Shayna Baszler attacked her tag team partner, Ronda Rousey. Following that, the two had a heated exchange of words. And last week, after Shayna Baszler’s match against Emma, Ronda Rousey walked out and attacked Baszler.
With that, this week on Monday Night Raw, Shayna Baszler faced and defeated Nikki Cross. Following the match, Ronda Rousey appeared and took shots at Baszler. Later, the match between Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler was announced for WWE SummerSlam 2023.
