What Happened to Bayley During WWE’s Live Event?
At the live event in Salisbury, Maryland, Bayley faced Asuka in a fatal Four-Way Match for the WWE Women’s Championship. The match also featured Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair.
However, soon after the match started, WWE Star Bayley suffered an unexpected knee injury. Thus the match was cut short. The Role Model was then taken to the backstage. Meanwhile, Asuka rolled up Charlotte Flair to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.
However, soon after the injury, Bayley took her Twitter handle and posted a photo of her knee, along with the caption “I’ll be alright, thanks everyone.“
It is to be noted that another member of The Damage CTRL, Dakota Kai is also currently injured. Now, Bayley has also suffered a knee injury, though the superstar stated that she will be alright. On the other hand, the third member of the Damage CTRL, IYO SKY, recently became Miss Money in the Bank 2023. With that, it looks like Sky might soon cash in on Asuka for the WWE Women’s Championship.
Previously, on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Asuka defended the WWE Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair. During the match, Bayley IYO Sky and Charlotte Flair were seen watching the match from the ringside. Not only they watched the match from the ringside, Bayley, IYO Sky and Charlotte also interfered in the match between Asuka and Bianca Belair, which resulted in the match to end in disqualification. Now, once again Asuka has retained her title against Bayley, Flair and Belair at the recent WWE live event. It is now to be seen what happens next involving these WWE superstars.
