WWE SmackDown: Triple H WWE: The Game took over WWE’s creative after Vince McMahon announced his retirement on Twitter earlier this year in the month of July. Since then he has made a lot of changes to how the company is run and this week’s WWE SmackDown was yet another powerful episode portraying his vision. The celebration was the main event of the show as the Olympic Gold medalist went out to the ring to address the crowd. Chad Gable and Otis, combinedly known as the Alpha Academy, interrupted the proceedings and expressed their displeasure on not being invited to the party. They ordered Angle to move out of the ring as they wanted to have the cake. Kurt followed their order religiously as the two dived into the huge cake. But Angle did return, this time with Gable Steveson who made his SmackDown debut on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown. The two unleashed the milk truck on the Alpha Academy to close the show.
After the event, Triple H, who shares a very close bond with his roster, linked up with Kurt Angle and Gable Steveson. The three wrestlers took a picture together which was shared from WWE’s official Twitter handle. The Game also took a picture with Kurt Alone which he shared from his personal profile. WWE SmackDown: Kurt Angle might wrestle in the future again
Kurt Angle last wrestled Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 in a losing effort.
During a recent interview the WWE Hall of Famer shed light on if he will be wrestle again. He stated that he might opt to perform in a tag team contest in the future.
It’s hard to say this right now because I’m basically telling the fans, ‘Hey, I can’t really wrestle anymore but watch me in my next match!’ But I’m just telling the truth. I’m an honest person, and I’m just saying I’m not like I used to be and never will be. But you know what, maybe down the road, I might do a tag match.” (via ewrestlingnews)
