WWE SmackDown: Roman Reigns WWE: Former world champion Drew McIntyre recently announced that he has not been medically cleared to wrestle on this week’s WWE SmackDown. He took to Twitter to announce the same. Now, it has also been reported that Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has been sidelined due to an injury. WWE SmackDown: Roman Reigns sidelined with the same injury as Drew McIntyre
Roman Reigns and the Bloodline participated in the Survivor Series WarGames match where they went up against the team of the Brawling Brutes, Kevin Owens and Drew McIntyre. During the match there was a confrontation between Owens and Reigns which led to the former slapping the champion and across his face, allegedly rupturing his eardrum. According to a report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, both Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre has been sidelined due to ruptured eardrums at the mega event. None of the post-Christmas shows, including the one in MSG, will be featuring the Tribal Chief.
“Both Reigns and McIntyre are out of action for right now due to suffering ruptured eardrums at Survivor Series. It’s a short-term thing and both should be back soon. Reigns is not on any of the post-Christmas shows, not even MSG. McIntyre is expected back for those shows. McIntyre was hurt at Survivor Series but kept working on it through the 12/4 house show in Portland, ME, but didn’t realize he was hurt that bad until he was examined after that show. He posted being medically disqualified on 12/5 but he and WWE did not say what the exact injury was”

There is no doubt that the Bloodline is currently the most dominant faction in WWE.
They defeated their opponent in the men’s WarGames match after Sami Zayn proved his loyalty to the head of the table as he turned on his long-time friend Kevin Owens. The match received a bag full of praise due to its awesome spots and exceptional storytelling.
