While Riddle got bored listening to Mix and Maryse going on about their reality show, he gave us some breaking news. The former WWE Raw tag team Champion claimed his revenge for Randy Orton isn’t complete yet.
He also revealed he is out to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship at WWE Money in the Bank 2022. After announcing his challenge, Riddle stated he will appear on WWE SmackDown this Friday night.
WWE SmackDown: Will Roman Reigns Appear on the Blue Brand to accept Riddle Challenge?
It is no secret that Roman Reigns has signed a new contract. According to this contract, The Tribal Chief works very less dates compared to before. It was known well in advance he will not be there at Hell in a Cell. While it is rumored he will be there at Money in the Bank, things in the WWE change thick and fast.
However, one more thing to keep in mind. Roman Reigns is someone who doesn’t give attention to a challenger if he is not of a certain stature. If you don’t believe it, go back in time to segments with Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura.
Last year after WrestleMania 37, Cesaro walked out on a segment of WWE SmackDown to challenge Roman Reigns. The Tribal Chief walked out even before Cesaro’s music could end.
Fast forward a year later, Reigns did the same to Nakamura. After WrestleMania 38, Nakamura came out as he was angry regarding Boogs’ injury at WrestleMania 38. Reigns laughed at first, hugged him, and walked away.
It will be interesting to see what Roman Reigns has in store for Riddle on WWE SmackDown. Or does he have anything in the store? Because the Tribal Chief does what he wants when he wants.
