The WWE Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Match began between Madcap Moss, Karrion Kross, Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar.

The fatal-4 match began with Rey and Kross facing each other and Madcap Moss squaring with Santos Escobar. Moss tossed Escobar out of the ring while Kross tossed Moss out. An argument broke out between Kross and Escobar.
Escobar launched Rey Mysterio into Kross, who delivered a Hurricanrana. After that, Moss dominated the ring and tossed Rey into Escobar.
Escobar nailed Mysterio with a superkick and Mysterio delivered the Hurricanrana.
Following that, Rey took down Kross and Escobar took down Moss. Moss recovered and took down Escobar and Kross. He dominated and took down Mysterio as well. Later he delivered a Spinebuster to Kross.

Towards the end of the match, Mysterio delivered the 619 to Kross and Kross came with a Krosshammer. Escobar took down Kross and Moss came with a flying elbow drop on Rey for the cover.
Thus, Madcap Moss won with a flying elbow drop on Rey Mysterio and became the #1 contender to the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
