He got handpicked by Adam Pearce to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Title at the WWE Royal Rumble PPV event on Sunday, January 29, and the confrontation between the two superstars was just the ending we could have asked for.

However, once that weird laugh at Roman’s face called the show to go off the air, something strange happened with The Visionary. Rollins made his way out to the ring elated and happy (maybe after getting a much-deserved title shot) but got attacked by The Usos from behind. However, after the assault, Rollins stood up and put an end to the segment by hitting a curb stomp on The Usos. You can check the footage below.

WWE Smackdown Results: The Usos assaulted Rollins on behalf of Roman Reigns
The Usos wanted to show Rollins what the Bloodline is capable of but instead got pummeled by the ‘Visionary.’- This segment was perhaps the first nail in the coffin of Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins’ feud, and it will definitely amp the tension between the two former buddies heading into the Royal Rumble PPV event.
It would be interesting to see how this feud would shape up in the coming weeks, considering that both Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are on either brand, i.e., Friday Night Smackdown and Monday Night Raw.
