WWE Smackdown Results: Roman Reigns and The Usos assaulted Finn Balor
In the closing segment of tonight’s WWE Smackdown, Finn Balor was brutally assaulted by The Bloodline i.e., The Usos and Roman Reigns. After his main event match against Baron Corbin, Finn Balor said that he wants to take on Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship and is ready to collide with John Cena if needed.
Balor got interrupted by Roman Reigns as the Universal Champion made his way out to the ring and said he feels sorry for Balor after what transpired with him a week back. However, he also warned him to never take his name on his show (.e. WWE Smackdown).- This baffled Balor, and he pushed Roman outside the ring. After this act, The Usos joined the fray and along with Roman, continued a 3 on 1 assault back & forth on Finn Balor.
WWE Smackdown Result: Edge vs. Seth Rollins is official for WWE Summerslam
It’s OFFICIAL, Seth Rollins and Edge will be colliding in what would be an epic singles battle at WWE Summerslam PPV. The match was made official when the Rated-R Superstar appeared tonight WWE Smackdown to let the WWE Universe know that Rollins isn’t present in the building.
However, Seth appeared on the big screen via satellite and dragged Edge’s wife and kids into their boiling rivalry.- This made the Rated-R Superstar furious, and he demanded to face him at Summerslam. Seth wasn’t impressed with the challenge and said that he is the one who makes the call here and will make a call of his own.
After all this, Edge started calling Seth nothing but crap and said that he always wanted to be like him but could only become “Edge Lite.”- This made Seth furious, and he finally accepted the challenge. Therefore, we are going to get Edge vs. Seth Rollins at WWE Summerslam now.
WWE Smackdown Results: Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks set for WWE Summerslam
The Smackdown Women’s Championship will be on the line. Bianca Belair will be defending her title against her familiar foe Sasha Banks at the PPV event. This match was in the making, especially after Sasha Banks assaulted Bianca last week on WWE Smackdown. It was just a mere formality to make the match official for the Biggest Event of Summer.
