The match concluded with, Austin Theory retaining the title. However, there was chaos created by Pretty Deadly and The Brawling Brutes during the match. WWE SmackDown Results: United States Championship Match
The match began with Sheamus in control who delivered a backbreaker to Theory. However, Theory soon turned the tide and started to hit Sheamus with the 10 beats. But, Sheamus blocked it.
The two WWE Superstars then furiously attacked each other. Sheamus came with a Clothesline and a body Slam, while Theory nailed the Spinout Slam.
Pretty Deadly ran interference and Sheamus took them down. Meanwhile, Theory attacked Sheamus. The Brawling Brutes then came out and brawled with Pretty Deadly.
Toward the end, Sheamus nailed a Brogue kick on Wilson, while Theory rolled him up for the win. Thus, Austin Theory retained the United States Championship against Sheamus.
Following the defeat, WWE Superstar Sheamus took his Twitter handle to comment on his match against Austin Theory. He said, “And still… an arrogant little bollocks.“
