WWE Women’s Championship Match: Asuka vs Bianca Belair
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Asuka stated that no one’s ready for her. Right then, Bianca Belair came out and attacked Asuka. Moments later, Charlotte Flair came out and got involved in a brawl with Belair.
Asuka took advantage of the situation and headed towards the top rope. However, IYO Sky came out and attacked Asuka from behind. Bayley and Sky then continued the assault on Asuka.
Meanwhile, it looked like Sky was about to cash in on Asuka. But, Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair took out Bayley and IYO Sky. Later it was announced that Asuka will defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair on Friday Night SmackDown this week.
What Else Might Happen on Friday Night SmackDown this week?
Only the match between Asuka and Bianca Belair has been confirmed for Friday Night SmackDown this week. However, there will be many more segments and matches. Let us see what else might happen on SmackDown this week.
Previously, on WWE SmackDown last week, The Trial of the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns took place. However, during the trial, Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa wreaked havoc on the Usos, which resulted in Jimmy Uso being rushed to a medical facility. Following that, a furious Jey Uso attacked Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa and then Challenged Roman Reigns to a Singles match.
Though Roman Reigns has not been advertised for Friday Night SmackDown this week, it has been reported that Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa will be present. Thus, Paul Heyman might make the match between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso official.
Apart from that, last week we saw IYO Sky trying to cash in on Asuka. This week, Sky might once again come out and interfere in Asuka’s match against Bianca and thus finalize the cash-in on Asuka.
