Nothing has been announced for the show so far but what can we expect from the final WWE show of this year? Here’s our prediction.
WWE Smackdown Predictions: Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar contract signing
A contract signing segment between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns is expected to take place this Friday night on Smackdown. The two men had a contract signing before Crown Jewel for their Universal Championship match, and once again, a contract signing segment could take place.

Last time, Adam Pearce officiated the process, and Paul Heyman was on Roman Reigns’ side. The dynamics have changed now as Roman has fired Paul, and he is no longer associated with the Tribal Chief. Will we see the segment turning wayward courtesy of a brawl between the two? Quite a possibility.

WWE Smackdown Predictions: Natalya vs. Xia Li
Xia Li made her Smackdown debut two weeks back when she saved Naomi from the wrath of Shayna Baszler, Natalya, and the WWE Authority figure Sonya Deville. Li helped Naomi to evade a possible assault and now it seems like she could be making her in-ring debut on the Blue brand net week.

In a vignette aired during the show last week, Li made it clear that she wants to fight Natalya after the latter said that Li is no match for her. Therefore, we could expect Li and Natalya to lock horns on the final Smackdown of 2021.

WWE Smackdown Predictions: Intercontinental Championship match
Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura is now clear about who is his next challenger. Sami Zayn won the last week’s 12-man Gauntlet match and will be challenging Nakamura for the title. However, the date isn’t finalized yet.

It was speculated that this match might take place at the WWE Day 1 PPV event on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. However, the match isn’t announced yet for the PPV, and one could expect that we may see this championship bout taking place this Friday night. Will it happen? We will find out this Friday night.
