The Grayson Waller Effect segment on SmackDown’s September 15 edition will include John Cena. Grayson Waller interrupted Cena’s promo earlier at Money in the Bank, leading to an interaction between the two of them. After engaging him in some trash-talking, Cena ultimately whacked him with Attitude Adjustment.
The Australian celebrity interrupted Cena when he made an unexpected visit at Money In The Bank in London, England, and the two men had a history as a result. Cena was so enraged by Waller that he was eliminated with an attitude adjustment.
Grayson Waller joined the SmackDown broadcast’s commentary team for LA Knight’s match against Austin Theory on September 8th. He made the announcement that John Cena would be his special guest in Denver one week from then.
It is unknown if Austin Theory will take part in the section in any way. At WrestleMania 39, Theory defeated Cena to keep the United States championship. Since Theory’s title loss last month, Waller and Theory are frequently spotted together. In the upcoming weeks, there are rumours of a tag team match between LA Knight and Cena against Waller and Theory.
The sixteen-time world champion made his return to the organisation on the September 1st episode of SmackDown, the first of seven advertised appearances for him on Friday evenings.
