WWE SmackDown Results August 19 – Another week and another edition of Friday Night SmackDown awaits the WWE Universe. The latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown commenced live from Montreal in Quebec, Canada. The road to Clash at the Caste continues on SmackDown.
Drew McIntyre Claymores Roman Reigns: In the main event of Friday Night SmackDown, Roman Reigns confronted Drew McIntyre face to face. Both men engaged in heated arguments on Friday Night SmackDown. The Scottish Warrior made a bold statement warning Reigns, and both men engaged in a brutal fight. Drew McIntyre delivered a claymore to Roman Reigns and stood strong in front of the WWE Universe with the WWE Titles.
Liv Morgan vs Shotzi: Shotzi mocks Liv Morgan before the match. Shotzi gives a dominating start to the match with a drop kick to Morgan followed by a vicious attack banging her head on the sidelines. After the commercial break, Shotzi dominated the match assaulting Morgan.
However, the SmackDown Women’s Champion gets back to her feet and hits with an obvilion to win the match. Later that match, Shayna Baszler attacked Morgan and warned the champion ahead of their match at Clash at the Castle.
Fatal 5-way match: Sami Zayn, Sheamus, Ricochet, Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss competed in a fatal-5 way match in a contender’s match for the Intercontinental Champion. Ricochet and Sami Zayn fight in the ring while Happy Corbin crawls on to deliver the chokeslam and pin Ricochet, but other superstars broke the pin.

The match continues on the sidelines with all superstars fighting with each other. Sheamus and Madcap Moss brawled on the sidelines while Ricochet and Happy Corbin fought in the ring. Later, Madcap returns to attack Corbin but the Lone Wolf smashed him into the barricade. Happy Corbin dominated the match with decisive blows to Sheamus followed by a side slam.
Meanwhile, Ricochet gets back to his feet and cleans the ring with his high-flying moves. Further, WWE fans saw the Celtic Warrior in fury decimating Madcap Moss, Ricochet and Happy Corbin on the apron with the chest chops. In the meantime, Sami Zayn picked his momentum in the match and unleashed his quickness with a blue thunder bomb to Madcap Moss but fails to pin.

The match continued with Happy Corbin attacking Madcap Moss and Ricochet. In the final moments of the match, Happy Corbin tried to get his hands on Ricochet but Sheamus sneaked in with a Brogue Kick pinning the Lone Wolf.
Hit Row rocks SmackDown with a comeback song: Maxx Dupri arrived with his Maximum Male Models and tries to present his new collection. However, Hit Row interrupts them and attacked the Maximum Mael Models stealing their spotlight. Later, Hit Row grabs the spotlight to present a hip-hop song on their comeback “We back”
Toxic Attraction vs Natalya and Sonya Deville: Natalya and Gigi Dolin start the match and Sonya tagged in to dominate Gigi Dolin. The former NXT tag team champion tried to attack Deville, but she caught Dolin. Later, Sonya Deville confronted Jayce Jayne and the match continued the match with their dominance, driving their opponents to the sidelines.
On the other Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky appeared in the WWE Universe and sat behind SmackDown commentators cheering for Toxic Attraction. The match continued with Jayce Jane and Natalya. Initially, Natalya furiously attacked Jayce Jane with a Russian sweep but later gets caught in Jayce Jane’s clutches. Jayce Jane tries to seal their victory but Sonya arrived to break the pinfall.
Later, Jayce Jane decimates Sonya Deville on the sidelines with a big boot to her face. However, Natalya got blindsided in the ring and mistakenly gets her hands on Gigi Dolin instead of Jayce Jane. In the final moments of the match, Natalya caught Gigi Dolin in a sharpshooter, but Jayce Jane rolls Natalya in a pinfall to win the match.
Ronda Rousey gets arrested: Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with the Baddest Woman on the Planet calling out WWE Official Adam Pearce. Ronda warned WWE Official of hijacking the show until she gets her suspension uplifted. Later, Pearce confronted Rousey and asked her to leave the ring peacefully but the former SmackDown Women’s Champion didn’t listen.

In the meantime, Pearce sent security guards to stop Rousey but she attacks both security guards. However, Pearce brought a backup and called the cops to arrest her. Eventually, the police arrested Ronda Rousey in handcuffs and escorted her out of the building.
