WWE SmackDown Live Results (August 11, 2023): Friday Night SmackDown this week will be the first episode of WWE SmackDown following WWE SummerSlam 2023. It is all set to take place at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Canada. WWE SmackDown will kick off at 8 PM in the United States and will air Live in India from 5:30 AM onwards on Saturday (August 12, 2023). On Friday Night SmackDown this week, Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso will appear. Also, Austin Theory will defend his title against Santos Escobar. Previously, Santos Escobar defeated Austin Theory in a non-title match. However, now on Friday Night SmackDown this week Escobar will face Austin Theory for the United States Championship.
Apart from that, AJ Styles and Karrion Kross who have been feuding for months now, will once again get the opportunity to take each other down in a singles match.
Also, Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso are scheduled to appear in the episode. Previously, at the last Pay-per-view event, WWE SummerSlam 2023, Jimmy Uso returned and attacked his brother Jey Uso. Following the interference from Jimmy, Roman Reigns defeated Jey Uso to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and the recognition of The Tribal Chief. With that, this week on Friday Night SmackDown following the event, Jimmy Uso will return to the Island of Relevancy to acknowledge the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.
