The match began with the Intercontinental Champion ruling over one-half of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions. KO was at the commentary table during the match, also when Ludwig Kaiser tried to intervene, Owens stopped him. Meanwhile, Giovanni Vinci attacked Sami Zayn and Gunther pinned him for the win.

Finn Balor ruled over NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes during the majority of the match. Finally, Balor nailed the Coup de Grace for the win.
