WWE RAW: Kevin Owens WWE: There were a few concerns over Kevin Owens being fit after he suffered a sprain in his MCL while taking on Austin Theory at a WWE live event on November 13. However, after being forced out of action for two weeks, KO returned to do what he does best at the promotion’s latest premium live event – Survivor Series WarGames. He teamed up with The Brawling Brutes and Drew McIntyre to take on The Bloodline. After a breathtaking contest in the main event, it was the Bloodline that once again reigned supreme. WWE RAW: Kevin Owens reportedly still dealing with injury despite being back in action

Speaking on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer highlighted that the injury Owens suffered at the life event is not fully gone despite the latter being back in the frame to fight. Meltzer also noted that the injury did not turn out to be the kind of serious it looked at the first go. Here is what he said:

“Owens’ knee held up but I wasn’t sure by the end of the match. Owens’ knee held up but he’s still hurt too. He got through the match and he worked the house show [on Sunday] and he worked the Raw [last night]. He’s okay to work which is really good because two weeks ago, there was a lot of concern that he could be out for a while. Luckily, he dodged that bullet”. (H/T WrestlingNews.co)

WWE News: Mick Foley says he inspired the likes of Kevin Owens and Bray Wyatt

“Probably expanding people’s ideas of what a big star could look like. That was probably the biggest. I think I expanded — opened the door for guys to follow, like Kevin Owens, like Bray Wyatt, who might not have gotten a look as a star. I’d like to think my lasting contribution is that I think I treated people well when I was on top, and that goes back to remembering how I was treated in Memphis.” (via RSN)
