WWE Raw Highlights: WWE Raw had some significant events this week, from Jey Uso’s return to Raw to Gunther’s historic Intercontinental championship reign. This week’s Raw had a big moment with Jey Uso obviously in the spotlight. He declared that he’s starting fresh on Raw as he has cut ties with the bloodline. However, things took an unexpected turn when Kevin Owens joined the fray. Instead of a confrontation, Owens was composed and told Uso that he’ll need to earn his place here on Raw, as not everyone in the locker room is welcoming him with open arms.
Following this, Judgment Day made their entrance, and it was anticipated that Owens would face off against them. However, they asserted their dominance, claiming that Raw is under their control, and even offered Uso a spot with them. During this exchange, Judgment Day inquired about Owens’ tag team match for the night, as Sami Zayn was absent. Uso then proposed that Owens team up with him against Judgment Day, to which Owens responded with a confident, “Let’s do it.”
And Jey Uso and Damian Priest started the match. Owens and Balor also got involved. The match saw various tag-ins and intense action. Balor and Priest managed to secure the win after Balor hit the Coupe De Grace on Owens, giving Judgment Day the victory via pinfall.
In addition, we also saw Gunther proudly talking about his Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship reign, taking shots at previous champions. After which, Chad Gable interrupted, given he wants to capture the title and make his family proud. Gunther mocks Gable for bringing his family into it. This leads to a fight between Gable and Gunther, but Imperium joins in to attack Gable. Tommaso Ciampa rushes in with a steel chair to rescue Gable and The Alpha Academy.
