The match commenced with The Viking Raiders unleashing a brutal attack on McIntyre and Sheamus. However, Sheamus overpowered Erick who battled him in the squared ring. Soon, the Celtic Warrior caught Erick in the 10 beats of the badhron dominating the match.

Unfortunately, the tables turned out for the Celtic Warrior after the former tag champs caught him off guard. The match continued with the Viking’s dominance until the Scottish Warrior stepped in. Immediately, Drew McIntyre took control of the match squashing Ivar inside the ring. After an intense battle, the match reached its end when both teams desperately needed a victory.
In the final moments of the match, The Viking Raiders tried to end the match decimating Sheamus. However, McIntyre and Sheamus decimated the duo with their finishers. Eventually, the Celtic Warrior landed the final blow with a Brogue Kick to win the match to advance to the semi-finals of the tag team tournament.

The former WWE Champions have successfully won their first match together in the tag team division with mass destruction. Next week, both men will probably face the winners of the first round to take another opportunity for the SmackDown tag team titles against The Usos.
