The 2023 Royal Rumble will be a special event to kick start the Road to WrestleMania as fans have high expectations. WWE Universe is eager to watch the returns of some of the rumored superstars for the event. Meanwhile, the company has some unique plans regarding a gimmick match.

As noted earlier, Triple H will likely add a Hell in the Cell match for the event. Recently, WrestlingNews.co reported the HIAC match will possibly occur between Edge and Finn Balor. On the other hand, WWE is also planning for a possible Pitch Black match. It is rumored that Bray Wyatt will be competing in the match but currently the discussions are yet to flourish.
The current match card to be announced by 12/30 would feature Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens, the SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs Raquel Rodriguez, and Edge vs Finn Balor.
