WWE NXT: Roxanne Perez alerts her fans to beware of fake accounts

Recently, a WWE fan reported Roxanne Perez about a fake Facebook page. Initially, the fan interacted with the fake account and tried to personate like Roxanne Perez. However, the fan found out it was a fake account when the user asked him for 4 Xbox cards.

The former NXT Women’s Champion took to Twitter to report this incident. The Prodigy alerted her fans that she doesn’t have a Facebook account and only has a Twitter and Instagram account under her WWE name.

It is quite common for fans to encounter fake accounts personating WWE superstars. Initially, these accounts try to target fans to receive money and other gifts. In recent times, there were many instances where wrestling fans became victims of such fake accounts and lost a lot of money.

In 2021, a WWE fan attacked Seth Rollins after getting scammed for $3000 by a fake account. Such events could harm WWE superstars badly if fans fell victim to such scammers.
