Fans react to Jay White signing with AEW and not with WWE
The 2-time IWGP champion made a significant run in Japan and became the leader of the Bullet Club. With outstanding matches at NPJW, Jay White gave his absolute best in several matches to climb the ladder to the top. From 2017, the New Zealand native gave his services to NPJW in the most outstanding ways to get on a whole new level by polishing his skills.
Since January 2023, both WWE and AEW eyed Jay White following his contract expiration with NPJW. However, AEW bagged him to bring him on the AEW roster. As per Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, WWE had a lot of interest in Jay White in January but many things changes since then.

Fightful reported WWE was optimistic about Jay White’s signing but eventually lost to AEW. Following the NPJW star’s debut on AEW, many wrestling fans are upset over it calling it a loss for WWE and a gain for AEW.

WWE might lose another megastar signing due to Vince McMahon’s return
WWE already lost its battle with AEW by losing Jay White. However, the company might not take a risk by losing Kenny Omega whose AEW contract will end soon. But, recent reports mentioned the former AEW World Champion’s signing with WWE may be affected due to Vince McMahon’s return.
Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio shed light on a possible red flag for WWE after Vince McMahon led Raw After WrestleMania. Kenny Omega is a decorated star and when it comes to the wrestling business, his decision fully relies on having the most fun during his run in the business. This could change if Vince McMahon stays on the creative side leading to another big loss for WWE.
