WWE News: Matt Hardy on the Bloodline: The Bloodline, which consists of Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Sami Zayn, is arguably the most entertaining and dominant faction in pro wrestling today. The heel stable are currently the holder of the Undisputed WWE Universal and the Undisputed Tag Team Championships. In addition, the former advocate of Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman, acts as a special counsel to Roman Reigns and is a big part of the group.

Speaking of the Bloodline, the stable has been exceptional as a heel with Roman Reigns’ dominance as the leader of the pack being the icing on the cake. Speaking on the most recent episode of his podcast, former WWE Superstar Matt Hardy explained that Vince McMahon was not fond of the idea of Roman turning heel.

“Yeah, I think it’s been really good. I honestly believe the biggest difference in being successful as a top draw as a heel nowadays is the fans because they just understand better. It’s kind of been whittled down to a smaller niche of pro wrestling fans, and they really get what’s going on. I remember Vince was so hesitant for so many years to turn Roman into a heel. Roman as the top babyface, which he was being pushed and promoted as during that time, I knew whenever they decided to turn him heel, because fans were already booing, they were ready and it was gonna be easy to do, and all it was gonna do ultimately was make him into a much bigger star.” (H/T – WrestlingInc.)
