Recently, the official Twitter handle of Madison Square Garden announced the huge match for Road to WrestleMania on March 12th at MSG. WWE has already announced the 20 superstars for the Battle Royal featuring big names like Drew McIntyre, Karrion Kross, Sheamus, Braun Strowman, Xavier Woods, Damian Priest, Johnny Gargano, Bobby Lashley, and many more.

This 20-Man Battle Royal will conclude Gunther’s WrestleMania opponent. As noted earlier, WWE is interested to book a triple-threat match at WrestleMania 39 for the IC Title featuring Gunther, Sheamus, and Drew McIntyre. However, the creative plans change consistently.
Sheamus is one step closer to becoming the Grand Slam champion. On the other hand, McIntyre would stand as a big hurdle for him and he could definitely grab the victory. Both superstars are top contenders and big main eventers.
WrestleMania 39: Gunther completes 256 days as the Intercontinental Champion
Last year, Gunther decimated Ricochet winning the IC Title. Since then, the Ring General has been on a rampage with several title defenses against the likes of Ricochet, Braun Strowman, Rey Mysterio, Madcap Moss, and Sheamus. However, none of the superstars could defeat Gunther continuing his reign at 256 days.
Recently, he surpassed Shelton Benjamin, who had a reign of 244 days. Currently, Gunther stands in the top 5 longest IC Title reigns and may surpass it too heading into WrestleMania 39. That being said, Gunther’s WrestleMania title defense will be a huge match to look out for.
